Our little princess Gracie, turned 4 on February 26, 2012.
She wanted to be a princess SO bad for her birthday-- so she wanted to wear her princess dress.  See the last pictures (dang you Blogger!)  She even let me curl her hair and put a flower in it!
Here is her princess cake that I attempted to make....
We invited Uncle Cam, Aunt Lisa, Camille and Sam out to have cake and icecream.
Allen tradition-  Heavy Heavy Hang over THY poor head-
Gracie didnt get it at all.
Gracie woke up to a happy birthday sign in the window!
You can kinda see her all dressed up!
We love you Gracie Mae Allen!
~Mae is her nickname that I always call her.  She really thinks that is part of her name now!

Little Miss.....

This little stinker thought it would be fun to draw on the fridge with dry erase marker....
and on the kitchen table. So- being the good Mom I am- I had her scrub it off. Lucky for her- it came right off. What a nut!

Story of our life right now....

We are a nebulizer family!! Gracie has been so sick and the doctor finally gave us a nebulizer to give her breathing treatments. That along with the antibotics to help her sinusitis and her ear infections.... we might just kick this thing! If the weather would just cooperate- we'd be in great shape!!

Miss Gracie's new trick

Sorry- you'll have to turn your head to watch this... but it makes me smile. What a little angel she is!

Friday, November 7, 2008

Here is my little cutie bug- She looked so cute, I had to take a picture of her in the red leaves. Thanks Zach and Becca for letting us use your leaves!

I made the yummiest creamy chicken and noodles the other day.
I have to share the recipe.... it was scrumptious!
1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, frozen
salt and pepper to taste
3 T Onion Lipton Soup
2 cans cream of chicken
1 can 14 1/2 oz chicken broth
16 oz pkg wide egg noodles, cooked
carrots
peas
Place chicken in slow cooker, sprinkle with salt and pepper and onion soup. Top with both cans of cream of chicken soup. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken falls apart. At 3 hours... add cut up carrots. Cover and keep cooking. Remove from slow cooker and shred chicken. Return to slow cooker- add broth, peas and cooked noodles. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes or until heated through.
I made homemade rolls with it and it was so good!

Gracie is 8 Months old!

Gracie was all smiles this morning when she woke up.
I can't believe she is 8 months old! Where does the time go?
Look how big she is! She pulled herself up and was standing in her crib. We can't get her to crawl yet- but she loves to stand!
She is such a good baby! We still need to work on sleeping through the night- but she is a good little girl!

Gracie & Abby

Sometimes you just gotta enjoy the sound of babies laughing. It does my heart good! When Abby showed this video to Gracie--- she laughed at herself laughing. Life doesn't get any better! The color is way off on this video but at least you can hear it!
