Word for 2013
A few years ago, I had
observed on others blogs that they were choosing a word for the year and then
really focusing on it. I did it a few
years ago and did really good for the first month or so… and then I would forget about it.
I decided to do it again for
2013 and the word I’ve chosen is a simple one but one that has a lot of meaning
to me--
JOY
I
need to remind myself to have Joy in the small things…
joy in my family, joy in the kids and their accomplishments. I’m not saying I haven’t had joy before—but
I’m making myself reflect a little more and focus on the joy. Hopefully this year I can bring JOY to others
as well.
That’s
my goal.
