We're moving!

We're moving!!
Sometimes you don't know why things happen in your life and you dont understand why- but they just happen. Then something bigger and better comes along and you realize.... YEP.
Heavenly Father does know what he is doing!!!

Jared has been searching for jobs everywhere! I seriously think he has put out over 300 resume's and applications to places all over Utah. And he has received several rejections. It's been kind of dissapointing. We knew that the funding for his job with Boys & Girls Club was ending on Sept 30th and we knew that we needed to find something. So we both searched and searched for jobs that could possibly work for him. One day out of the blue, Jared's brother Cam, called and said, hey, send in your resume to this company. You'd be a great fit but you would have to move your family to Casper Wyoming. Jared said okay- I'll do it. He sent in his resume and got a phone call back setting up a phone interview. That was pretty exciting as nothing had panned out for the last few months. During the phone interview, the lady said she wanted Jared to have a phone interview with another guy who was on vacation at the time. So we waited a week. Then the guy called and had a 2nd phone interview with Jared. He then said he wanted to fly Jared out to Denver Colorado where the headquarters are and have a face to face interview. We were pretty excited as they flew him out there (on our anniversary) and paid for a rental car for him. It was a big deal to us.

Then the waiting began. We waited and waited and waited and heard nothing. Jared called them finally and they wanted to do a background check. So they were doing a background check that seemed to last forever.... and then on Thursday we got the call and the offer was placed!!!

So- here is the nitty gritty as far as I know it, for now.
Jared will be working for a company called PhysIOM. He will be a tech of sorts in the operating room when patients have back surgeries. Jared will place electrodes on the patient and then watch and monitor during surgery that no nerves are damaged or injured causing the patient to be paralyzed. He will leave in a week for 6 weeks for training in Colorado and I will be home trying to sell or rent our home. When our home sells or rents out, then we will move to
Casper Wyoming. Jared's brother Cam lives up there with his wife, Lisa and their 3 kids. We are pretty excited about the move but also sad to leave such a fabulous neighborhood. We have been so blessed to live on such an amazing street where the people are so good to us.
We'll miss our weekly summer gabs and our parties with the neigbors, but we know this is what we need to do right now.
