Chocolate (specifically Hershey's Special Dark Kisses in the Purple wrappers) helps me get out of bed. Other than that, somehow I just survive day by day. I wish you luck.
Don't worry about a routine yet. Just enjoy that new baby. They grow up so fast and you will look back on the day when they just layed there and looked at you, and wish she was only laying there now instead of runnning crazy around the room
Load your dishes in the dishwasher and have it run while you are sleeping. Then, first thing in the morning, get up and empty the dishwasher. It will not only wake you up, but you will have a clean kitchen all day!
Being a mother is a routine! Try writing a grateful journal everyday (make time for this); put the kids into a routine so you can begin one for yourself-example: all-day school for one child and the other preschool. Take an enrichment class at Weber (history, or take a church related class at Weber through the seminary). Get outside! The river isn't too far away-take the kids for a stroll and a picnic. Great ideas are provided by those who care Shannon! ~Loves
You know, it might sound crazy but I wake up my whole family at 6:30 so we can have breakfast with Jason before he goes to work. We read a verse out of the scriptures and say family prayer. It is so nice to start the day off like that! It was really hard the first two weeks but I really enjoy it and it is totally worth it!
You can't have a routine until the baby has one, and she is too young, sooo your routine must consist of feeding in bed, might be the only time you get to lay down all day, catching a quick shower during a cat nap only to hear screams over the running water, and trying not to let your older children get on your nerves because your feeling overprotective of Gracie. Don't have too many expectations of yourself yet. Just relax and try to enjoy the scenery of toys on the living room floor.

Open all the curtains/blinds first thing in the morning and let the beautiful sun come in. It works for me every time.
