Jared's neice, McKay, makes the very best chocolate chip cookies.... They are so yummy and they work out every time! Here is the recipe that she so graciously shared with me. thanks McKay.
1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
BEAT WELL
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup water
CHOCOLATE CHIPS
Mix well and Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes

Actually this recipe is Nell's.
I know! (0= Not too long ago, they (the cousins) would visit Aunt Nell and make cookies together. It was really sweet.
