Willow Lake

This is one of my favorite spots to be in the whole wide world. It's Willow Lake. It's up Beaver Mountain in Beaver Utah. My grandparents owned about 8 acres and built a small cabin on the property. Over the years we have had numerous family reunions and the annual gun shoot. The gun shoot would always be over the once Mossy lake. However, this summer- my Dad decided it was time to clean it out. He hired a guy to come and drain the lake, scoop out all the muck- build a better island- and make this place beautiful again! Here is a picture of the results! My dad and brothers planted grass and wildflowers, so next year- it should be incredible!!! With all the gunk from the bottom of the lake, they took it and put it down in the meadow. The meadow was full of holes, cow poop and all that- apparently is is completely evened out, that it would be a great place to camp, play ball or just hang out. Again- they planted grass and wildflowers to make this place even more beautiful. I can't wait for next summer to take a family trip to see this new favorite spot of mine.

Ah. Nice fall foliage. There are more family members joining...you will need more space! What a wonderful place to relax.
